NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Can a national group really keep people from losing their homes?

Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America, NACA for short, claims it can. The group is in town and has set up shop at Opryland Hotel for the next few days.

Hundreds of counselors are available 24 hours each day to help homeowners find an affordable mortgage rate which could keep them from losing their homes.

"What makes us so, significantly so unique, so different from other organizations who do this, is that we have legal binding contracts with the services that we have here, and some services that are not present," explained a NACA representative.

The five-day event started Friday and will last until midnight on Tuesday. NACA has put on similar events around the country.
