Metro Police Officer Arrested For Sexual Battery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A Metro Police officer turned himself in to be arrested Friday afternoon. A grand jury indicted Anthony Jackson on two counts of sexual battery.

A female waitress in a Hickory Hollow restaurant bar told police he put his hand into her pants. The incident occurred while he was off duty on February 22.

Anthony Jackson has worked for the police department for 13 years. He was decommissioned on April 7 when the investigation began.

His bond was set at $5,000.
