Worker Transported To Hospital After Methane Explosion

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. – One worker was injured after a methane explosion Thursday in Robertson County. A crew had been drilling for a well when they hit a methane pocket.

The worker was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with burns to his face and hands. The other worker was not injured.

Crews are still on the scene trying to put out the fire.
