Maury County
Police in Mt. Pleasant are investigating a possible multiple stabbing over New Year's Eve. Investigators said one man was stabbed in the stomach and rushed to the hospital around 2:00 a.m. at the Crash Landing Galley on North Main in Mt. Pleasant. Two others may also have been cut. No names have been released. Detectives are still questioning witnesses.

Williamson County
Brentwood Academy found a replacement for Carlton Flatt. Although Flatt's shoes will be hard to fill, Ralph Potter of The McCallie School in Chattanooga will give it a try. Potter has been the head coach at McCallie for 10 seasons. During that time he's compiled a 97-52 overall record. Potter will join the staff at Brentwood Academy immediately.
