Maury County

Today a group that ranks business climates named Spring Hill the most business-friendly city in the state. The Tennessee Center for Policy Research said Spring Hill has a good location, low cost of living and the lowest business tax burden in the state. Mount Juliet had the second highest score followed by Franklin, La Vergne and Brentwood.

Montgomery County

A Fort Campbell soldier was in trouble for pretending to be a police officer. He even pulled someone over but the person he stopped had a badge of his own. Officials said 20-year-old Matthew Barry used his own blue lights to pull over a family near Needmore Road. He then found out  that the driver he stopped was actually an off duty officer. Barry tried to get away by speeding off but was eventually caught. He faces different charges including impersonating an officer and evading arrest.

Williamson County

The future corporate home for Nissan North America is taking shape. The offices are going up off Interstate 65 in Franklin.

Two tall structures are visible from the interstate. The building is scheduled to be finished in the middle of next year. Until then, Nissan employees are working in the Bell South building in downtown Nashville.
