High-Speed Chase In Gallatin Ends In An Arrest

GALLATIN, Tenn. - Rush hour was especially chaotic for a few Sumner County drivers.

Police said a Florida man led them on a high-speed chase through rush-hour traffic.

According to police Ricky Cook, fled the scene after a hit-and-run accident on Blakemore Street in Gallatin.

Police finally caught up to the 48-year-old in the Bethpage area.

Cook's charges include driving under the influence, felony evading arrest, assault on an officer and leaving the scene of an accident.
