A $5,000 reward was offered for information in a gun store burglary, in which a total of 18 guns were stolen.

"Obviously we're concerned about the addition of new weapons on the street that would be used in other crimes in the future," said Officer Bill Storment with the Gallatin Police Department.

Future crimes that investigators have tried to prevent. Officer Storment said Gallatin Police responded to the break-in early Saturday morning.

The men were caught on surveillance video shattering the front window of Sumner Gun and Supply, but police have had a difficult time identifying the thieves.

"They were kind of wrapped like mummies. They were covered up pretty well, we can't tell what the race of the individuals were," said Officer Storment.

This wasn't the first time the store had been hit, in fact, it was the second time in the last two years.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) joined in on the investigation, offering a $5,000 reward for information on the break-in.

"You can rest assure that we're going to pursue this until we find out who it is that perpetrated this crime," said Officer Storment.

Anyone with information on the burglary was asked to call 1-800-ATF-GUNS.
