Metro Police opened an investigation into a vandalism case in which the word "porn" was drawn on several mid-state cars.
It happened over the last couple weeks - all in one condo complex on Brooke Castle Drive in Hermitage.
Neighbors said at least nine cars have been hit so far with permanent marker: someone has been scrawling the word "porn" on the cars.
Neighbors hoped the vandalism is just a prank, and not something far more sinister.
"I still think its strange, and also kind of creepy," said Carmen Washington, one of the victims. "Because the word that was written on there,you don't know what you're dealing with."
Washington said people in the neighborhood have taken police advice, and have now installed security cameras to catch whoever's vandalizing the cars.
