Police have asked the public’s help in identifying suspects after a Dickson County man was fatally shot in Nashville.
The incident happened at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cobblestone Corners apartments on Ben Allen Road.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said 34-year-old Shamar Lewis, of Burns, drove to the complex to meet with an acquaintance, who arrived in a dark-colored SUV.
Police said four men got out of the SUV and walked with Lewis behind an apartment building.
A short time later, a witness saw four men run from behind the building and flee in the SUV.
Lewis was found behind the building and had been shot multiple times.
