An 18-year-old was stabbed several times during a robbery at Walmart in Springfield.
It happened Sunday around 9:30 p.m.
According to officers Patrick Bush was stabbed six times in the chest,stomach and back by James (Jake) Auerbach.
Auerbach admitted to stabbing Bush.
He is charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery and aggravated Assault.
Auerbach is being held in the Robertson County Jail under a $40,000.00 bond.
His court date is set for Nov. 28 at 9 a.m.
