Body Found In Madison Identified As Missing Woman

The body of a woman found in Madison has been identified as a 26-year-old who had been reported missing earlier that day.

According to officials witht the Metro Nashville Police Department, Jamie Kopulos' decomposing body was found in a ditch.

She was found along Hudson Road near Pineywood Acres Drive. Fingerprints confirmed Kopulos' identity, who is thought to have lived in the Madison area.

Kopulos’ grandmother reported her missing in the early morning hours of Monday, saying that she had not been seen since leaving work at the Steak ‘n Shake restaurant on Myatt Drive on the night of August 16.

An autopsy did not show any indication of foul play.  Her cause of death was undetermined.

Detectives have been working to determine where Kopulos went after leaving work.  Witnesses reported that she left the restaurant with two men.

Detectives asked for the public's help in identifying them so that they can be interviewed.
