A business owner decided to take matters into his own hands after he reportedly caught someone stealing from his store.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, a business on Bell Road was burglarized back in February and then again about a day later.
This time, the business owner said he saw a man going in and out of his business - placing tools and equipment into a white SUV.
At that point, he followed the man to Murfreesboro Pike and tried to get his license plate number.
However, the suspected burglar spotted him and took off. A chase ensued and both ended up crashing.
According to reports, the burglar admitted to stealing items from the business both times and returned some of the items to the business owner.
