In light of the recent wildfires, hurricanes, and the Las Vegas shooting, CMT has decided to make changes to this year's Artist of the Year show.
Network officials said the show will focus on the fans, as well as those affected by recent tragedies.
CMT representatives said they want the live broadcast to be a night of hope and healing through the power of music.
CMT's Artist of the Year show will air live from the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Wednesday, October 18.
