A Florida evacuee asked for the public's help in her search to find the stranger who helped her while she was in Tennessee fleeing from Irma.

Hollie Torres is from West Palm Beach, Florida. A woman gave her $100 while at a gas station in Whites Creek.

Torres and her husband stopped at the gas station while fleeing hurricane Irma to Missouri. The lady asked if they had already paid for their gas. When Hollie replied, "yes", the lady insisted she keep the money for their next fill up.

"I want to find her to thank her and update her that we’re safely home. I was so in shock and hyper vigilant that I didn’t think about exchanging information," Hollie said.

Torres said once they got home they learned that their county had seven tornados touchdown in addition to the hurricane. Thankfully, their home had a small amount of damage to the ceiling from a roof leak.
