Holocaust survivor and stepsister of Anne Frank, Eva Schloss, will be speaking in Nashville October 11th.

Members of the Jewish community say this event is for everyone. Rabbi Yitzchok Tiechtel, with Chabad of Nashville, invited Schloss to Nashville from her home in London.

"That life one day was so beautiful the next day became so dark," Rabbi Tiechtel said.

Schloss will share her story of triumph, tolerance and peace.

Daniella Pressner is a teacher at Akiva school. She says teaching the next generation about the past is critical and hearing Eva's words will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

"It's not going to be an opportunity that lasts forever," she said.

Nashville Music City Center will host “A Historic Evening with Anne Frank’s Stepsister” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 11th.
