Two Tennessee lawmakers filed legislation to ban bump-stocks.

The filing came after the Las Vegas tragedy in which the shooter is said to have used the attachment to kill 58 people and injure more than 500-others.

Tennessee Senator Lee Harris and State Representative Dwayne Thompson, both Democrats, filed the measure that would ban the possession of bump stocks and trigger cranks in the state.

Investigators said the Las Vegas gunman used the legal devices to make semi-automatic rifles shoot like fully automatic weapons.
