The first-ever Boro Pride event wrapped up in Murfreesboro.
It was estimated that close to a thousand people came out for the event Saturday.
The festival was all about celebrating the LGBTQ community in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County.
With the Nashville Pride event that has been an annual event drawing in thousands, organizers of the Boro Pride event said it was past time for Murfreesboro to host its own pride event.
The event included a pride walk, vendors, live music, and food trucks.
