A 61-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Hicks Road.
It was unknown what time the crash happened in the 900 block of Hicks Road. Reports stated a man on his way to work noticed a mailbox knocked over around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, and a woman who was out for a walk later found the victim's body around 10 a.m.
The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Bruce Bradley.
A preliminary investigation showed Bradley was driving his 2015 BMW motorcycle east when he failed to negotiate a curve and hit a driveway culvert. Authorities said Bradley was thrown from the motorcycle.
Officials said there was no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene.
Reports stated Bradley lived near the scene of the crash.
