A hockey game honored those who lost their lives on 9/11 and raised money for a good cause.

The Nashville Fire Department's hockey team took on the all women's hockey team The Ex's at the Ford Ice Center on Saturday.

The 9/11 memorial game honored firefighters who died in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and local firefighters who have passed away.

Also this year, fallen Metro Nashville Police Officer Eric Mumaw was honored.

The event raised almost $5,000 for the Lily Rose Foundation.
