Two men were arrested in connection with a 2015 fatal shooting on the campus of Tennessee State University.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said 20-year-old Chris Gatewood and 20-year-old Robert Tunstall have been indicted for 1st degree murder by a Davidson County Grand Jury.

They were taken into custody in Memphis. Members of the United States Marshal’s Task Force

Police said Gatewood and Tunstall could be seen in TSU surveillance video firing pistols at the victim, 19-year-old Cameron Selmon, in the outside courtyard of the Floyd-Payne Campus Center shortly before 11 p.m. on Oct. 22.

Selmon was not a TSU student, but was visiting from Memphis.

A fight over a dice game escalated into a physical fight and then gunfire the night he was shot.  In addition to Selmon being fatally wounded, three 18-year-old student passersby were injured, though not seriously.

Police believed both suspects returned to Memphis shortly after the shooting.

They were expected to be returned to Nashville in the near future and booked into the Metro Jail.
