An Antioch bar employee enforcing last call has been charged with shooting a customer who refused to leave.

Metro Nashville Police officers responded to Kat's Bar and Grille shortly after 1 a.m. Friday on Mount View Road.

Police said a customer's refusal to leave the bar escalated into a fight with an employee.

The employee fired a shot and grazed the customer's face. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he's expected to be okay.

The employee left the scene and drove home to Rutherford County before police arrived.

Authorities in Rutherford County found the man at his home and held him there for Metro detectives.

He has been charged with aggravated assault.
