Officials in Houston County confirmed a man was arrested for violation of bond conditions in relation to charges stemming from an alleged relationship with a minor.
Authorities confirmed Ernest Beechum was on bond for the charges related to the alleged relationship, and part of his bond conditions included having no contact with the minor.
Reports stated the minor’s family received a phone call on February 14 from the church Beechum has been known to attend.
An investigation revealed Beechum made that call.
He was taken into custody for violation of bond conditions — contempt of court.
Officials confirmed Beechum pled to the charge and received ten days in jail to undergo an evaluation.
