A burglar was able to get away with cigarettes during a smash-and-grab at a Nashville area convenience store.
The incident happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. Monday at a Mapco on Old Hickory Boulevard, located not far from the entrance ramp for Interstate 40.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the burglar smashed the front door to get inside the store.
The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes.
It’s unclear if the person was seen on surveillance video.
