Many people visiting Nashville for the eclipse stopped by the Italian Lights Festival.

The festival has usually taken place in September, but organizers changed the date to align with the eclipse.

This was the 7th year for the event, which featured food, wine, live music, and popular activities like grape stomping.

This year's event at Bicentennial Mall State Park also had a bit of an eclipse theme.

Long-time volunteers said the event has continued to get more popular each year.

“It grows every year,” said Jamie Grigsby. “I'm blown away. There are more vendors, and more people are learning about the Italian Lights Festival. It’s wonderful to see it grow.”

The event was scheduled to continue Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. before wrapping up on Monday with a free solar eclipse viewing party from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

They've even invited two astrophysicists from NASA for the festival.
