A driver has died following a crash on Main Street in Spring Hill.
Officials confirmed the wreck happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday on Main Street and Rippaville near Saturn Parkway.
A driver traveling south crossed the median, hitting and killing the male driver of a vehicle traveling north. His identity had not been released.
The man and woman in the southbound vehicle were injured in the crash and taken to Tristar Spring Hill medical center for treatment. The extent of their injuries was unknown.
Officers confirmed northbound lanes in that area were closed until just past 8 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities said the cause of the fatal crash was still being determined. The investigation was being handled by Spring Hill officials.
