Juvenile Charged In 21-Year-Old's Stabbing Death

A 16-year-old has been charged in the stabbing death of a 21-year-old in Tullahoma.

Officials in Tullahoma said 21-year-old Carlos Harris was found dead on August 15 on the ground at the Dossett Apartments in the 900 block of East Grundy Street.

Harris had a single puncture wound to his chest, which was later determined to be his cause of death.

Authorities confirmed a 16-year-old juvenile, whose identity was not released, was taken into custody Thursday.

Following an investigation, the juvenile was charged with second degree murder, aggravated assault resulting in death, and voluntary manslaughter.

According to reports, the juvenile was being held in the Rutherford County Juvenile Detention facility awaiting court proceedings.
