Police in Smyrna have asked for help finding a man who they said raped a child.
The suspect, Jose Garcia, has not been home since Wednesday.
Authorities said he has been working construction in Lebanon and has friends who live in La Vergne.
Garcia has active warrants for rape of a child.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts has been asked to call Detective Krieb at the Smyrna Police Department at 615-267-5148.
