A new police chief has been named at the Fairview Police Department.
Fairview City Manager Scott Collins confirmed on Friday that they had offered the position to Captain Zack Humphreys of the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office.
Humphreys had been with the sheriff’s office in Dickson County for 23 years.
He said he’s excited to begin and start rebuilding at the Fairview Police Department.
Humphreys has been scheduled to start with the City of Fairview on Tuesday, January 3.
