An Amber ALERT has been canceled after a Lexington, Tennessee mother and her four children were found safe, but the search for the man accused of kidnapping them at gunpoint has intensified.
Police said they’re searching for 28-year-old Octivas Crout, who has sometimes used the last name of Woods.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, he’s the father of two of the children.
Woods allegedly kidnapped the children and their mother, Amanda Crout, Sunday morning in Lexington.
Again, the four children and their mother were found safe.
Anyone with information on Woods’ whereabouts has been urged to contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463). Officials said you should not attempt to approach Woods if you see him.
