Teen Charged With DUI In Health Dept. Crash

According to toxicology reports, a teen who crashed into the Williamson County Health Department was under the influence of alcohol.

The incident happened around 10:55 p.m. on June 11.

Authorities said the report confirmed 18-year-old Felipe Villanueva Perez had alcohol in his system when the crash took place.

When officers got to the scene on the night of the crash, they found Perez unconscious on the ground.

Reports stated Perez was driving on West Meade Boulevard when he left the roadway, drove down the sidewalk, hit a row of mailboxes, and crashed into the health department.

Authorities said the damage to the building was significant.

Perez was charged with DUI and was taken into custody Wednesday night.

Officials confirmed he was free on a $2,500 bond with a court date scheduled for October 13.
