A homicide investigation got underway in Clarksville after a woman was killed in a domestic-related altercation over the weekend.
An ambulance was called to the scene at 5:06 a.m. Saturday on Bellamy Lane.
Hamid Houbbadi, age 40, has been accused of killing his estranged wife, Leila Chanane, age 41, during an altercation.
It’s unclear what led up to the incident.
Houbbadi was found in a residence with self-inflicted wounds. He was taken to an area hospital, where his condition was not yet known.
He’s expected to be charged with criminal homicide in the case.
