NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man was arrested after police said he hid drugs in a baby's stroller.
Metro Nashville Police officers were investigating a report of an assault at James Cayce Homes when they spotted the male suspect, identified as Charles Fleming.
According to a police report, he was acting in a suspicious manner.
Fleming had been walking with a woman and her baby when police said he leaned over and placed something into the stroller with a baby.
They later found a baggie of drugs under the blanket, the report said. That led them to a search of a nearby home where the suspect was staying.
There, police said they found weapons, along with more drugs - including cocaine and heroin.
Fleming was booked on drug and child neglect charges. The baby was not hurt.
