Metro Police Seek To ID East Nashville Robbery Suspect

Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a Family Dollar in East Nashville.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday at the store on Woodland Street.

Police said the suspect entered the store and demanded money from the register. He fled on foot with cash.

He was described as being between 25 and 30-years-old, stands approximately six feet tall and weighs 170 pounds.

Police said the gunman may be involved in similar robberies in the same area.
