Nashville International Airport will see "Moderately heavy" flight traffic through Memorial Day, according to Tom Jurkovich, Vice President of Communications.

Around 15,000 passengers are expected Saturday and 17,000 Sunday. Jurkovich said the busiest time will be in the mornings. He suggests passengers arrive two hours early for their flight to give ample time for security.

Jurkovich also said the passenger count isn't extraordinary and that Summer major events, such as the CMA's and Bonnaroo, will have days with 20,000 passengers.

The airport is expected to be fully staffed and able to handle the passenger flow through the three day holiday.
