Crews responded to a large house fire in the Berry Farms subdivision of Franklin.
The flames broke out in the home on the 4000 block of General Martin Lane Friday evening.
Two people were at home at time, a mother, child and a pet. They were able to safely escape the home.
The top floor of the home was unfinished which helped flames spread quickly throughout the home.
It was unclear what caused the fire, and it was still under investigation.
