The hype surrounding the Nashville Predators seems to grow day by day, and comedy duo Austin and Colin decided to get in on the action, helping grow the hype for the hockey team they love, by creating a new viral video.

“Man, I feel like this city is just on another level right now. It’s ridiculous,” Colin Cooper said.

“Having a positive attitude in hockey during a playoff series is extremely important, and getting pumped about it is as well, and so with Bridgestone being one of the loudest arenas and actually fueling the Predators to winning these games, we just thought, why not throw more gasoline on that fire,” Austin Bever added.

The two worked with the Nashville Predators organization on Thursday and Friday to shoot a video for the song and dance called “Fangerang.”

“With the Fang Fingers being such a staple in the stadium, Fangerang just fit perfectly,” Bever said.

The video, just more than a minute long, shows Austin and Colin, Gnash, Maverick, the Energy Team, and fans dancing to the Fangerang, and the hope is that not only will it create hype, but also catch on as a dance for fans at games.

“We’re just hoping that people can at least pick up the simplest parts, even if they can do just a little of it, that’d be awesome,” Colin said.

The two worked together on the music and the dancing, with Colin coming up with the song, and Austin coming up with the dance moves.

“My wife’s studying for Grad School looking over at me like, ‘What are you doing?’” Austin explained of him coming up with the dance, with Colin adding that Austin’s dog was biting at him as he came up with the dance moves.

While the video going viral is a perk, they guys are just happy that the Predators themselves are being given the recognition and excitement they deserve.

“We just want to bring attention and hype to these guys who are working their butts off every night in that arena to bring us so much joy in these playoffs,” Austin said.

Colin agreed, saying, “If it just makes them more hype and it makes them smile, then it’s all we can ask for.”
