A preschool in Maryland Farms was evacuated after a large portion of its roof collapse after storm passed through the area.
Firefighters responded to The Academy of Powell Place in Maryland Farms Tuesday afternoon.
A large section of the roof's back right corner fell through exposing what appeared to be a classroom to the storm.
One of the teachers were able get the kids out of that portion of the building before the roof caved in.
The children were moved to neighboring building which housed the offices of Tennessee Society of Certified Accountants on Powell Place.
More than 50 kids were moved until their parents could arrive to pick them up. None of them were injured in the collapse.
