Olympic gold medal gymnast, Shawn Johnson, was part of the Nashville Sports Council's Breakfast with Champions.
The 2016 Breakfast with Champions event was held Friday morning and was open to the youth of the Coleman Park Community.
Johnson spoke at the event, and even took questions, but ultimately left the kids with a little inspiration.
"Have fun. Keep working for it. Hard work pays off, but truly you have to fall in love with the sport," said Johnson.
The gymnast will soon head to Rio to support the 2016 gymnastics team.
She was confident the USA would be bringing home more gold.
The breakfast was hosted by Comcast and co-hosted by the Nashville Sports Council.
