NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A string of thefts in East Nashville have hit small businesses hard -- particularly popular bars and restaurants.
The question is: Are they related?
In at least one case, a security camera caught the criminal in action.
On Monday at Dino's restaurant, surveillance cameras captured someone walking off with two portable heaters.
Also in the last few days, a smoker was stolen from near Porter Road Butcher, and two more portable heaters were stolen from Holland House.
“Being in a community like this, you can lose sight of what can happen, you feel like it’s safer than it is at times,” said Matt Russo.
