A truck lost its load on Interstate 24 East, causing a chain-reaction crash near downtown Nashville.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. Thursday on I-24 East near James Roberson Parkway.
The cause of the crash was not known. However, the truck may have lost its cargo which caused at least five other cars to crash.
Sky 5 flew over the scene and showed crews removing what appeared to be metal coils from the roadway.
The interstate was briefly closed but has since reopened.
