A daughter has been taken into custody after her mother was stabbed multiple times in north Nashville.
The incident happened at a home on McKinney Avenue around 4:15 a.m. Friday.
Officials said the victim, identified only as the 26-year-old suspect's mother, was stabbed in the neck, arm, and leg. She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and has been expected to survive.
Details on the daughter's capture in Hendersonville were not released. Authorities said they were conducting interviews as the investigation remained ongoing.
