NASHVILLE, Tenn - The Nashville Sounds baseball club will open its 2009 season Thursday.
The team will play its first game of the season in a newly renovated Greer Stadium.
More than $2 million in renovations have been completed by the team's owner.
Fans will notice new seats, concession stands and restrooms.
The team's 32nd season starts at 7:00 p.m. at Greer Stadium against the New Orleans Zephyrs.
Mayor Karl Dean will throw out the first pitch.
