DAISY KING / MISS DAISY'S KITCHEN
1/2 c granulated sugar
3/4 c dark brown sugar
1/2 c cocoa
1/8 t salt
1 5-oz can evaporated milk
1/3 c light corn syrup
1/3 c butter
1 t vanilla extract
Combine sugars, cocoa and salt in a saucepan. Add milk and corn syrup and bring to a boil. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla and allow suace to cool.
Serve over ice cream, pound cake, fruit or whatever you wish!
Makes 1 cup.
