RECIPE # 4461 - BREAKFAST COUNTRY HAM PUFF, Monday, April 5, 2010

4 slices white bread, torn

2 cups milk

3 eggs, beaten

1/2 teaspoon spicy mustard

1/8 teaspoon paprika

Dash of garlic powder

2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

1-1/2 cups diced cooked ham

1/2 cup chopped onion

4 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish and set aside. 

Combine the bread, milk, eggs, mustard, paprika, and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 1 minute or until smooth. 

Stir in the cheese, ham, onions, bacon, and parsley. Pour into the prepared pan and bake 25 minutes or until center is set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. 

Yield: 8 servings
