Jack's Best-Ever Fudge Sauce

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey

8 ounces good quality semisweet chocolate, cut into small chunks
 
1/4 cup sugar
 
1/4 cup light corn syrup
 
Bring cream and Jack Daniel's to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate, sugar, and corn syrup until smooth and melted. Serve warm or at room temperature. Cover and keep refrigerated.
 
Makes about 2 cups
 
Jack's Punchy Peaches
 
2 tablespoons butter
 
2 cups ripe peeled & sliced peaches (or 1 bag 12 oz. frozen sliced peaches)
 
1/2 cup brown sugar
 
2 tablespoons Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
 
1 teaspoon cornstarch
 
Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Stir in the peaches and sugar. Cook over medium heat and simmer until sugar dissolves. Combine Jack Daniel's and cornstarch in a small bowl and stir until cornstarch dissolves. Pour into the peaches. Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened and bubbly. Serve warm or at room temperature.Cover and keep refrigerated.
 
Makes about 2 cups.
