Tulsa Coach Joins Caldwell's Vanderbilt Staff - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

(AP) NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Herb Hand, former offensive coach at Tulsa, has been named offensive line coach at Vanderbilt by new coach Robbie Caldwell. 

Hand, who spent three years at Tulsa, fills the position Caldwell had until being promoted to head coach last month when Bobby Johnson retired. 

Meanwhile, Caldwell also promoted longtime Vanderbilt assistant Bruce Fowler to assistant head coach. Fowler formerly was assistant head coach/defense, and will continue to coach linebackers.
