Police Identify Man Killed In North Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Darius Hamilton was shot and killed on Queens Lane in North Nashville Monday morning. The 29-year-old was found outside his grandmother's house. 

Police said Hamilton arrived home from a nightclub around 4 a.m. Authorities were soon called to the scene after multiple neighbors called 911. They reportedly heard four or five gunshots. 

Officials originally said the victim was a 17-year-old man that had been killed. 

Police found Hamilton with gunshot wounds in the driveway of his grandmother's home at 116 Queens Lane. Authorities believe this was a homicide. 

No arrests have been made in the case. Police believe Hamilton was targeted. 

Officials said Hamilton was free on $8,000 bond for an August arrest at the Queens Lane home for possession of Lortab, ecstasy, and Xanax pills.
