NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man accused of taking part in the conspiracy to kill his ex-wife pleaded not guilty to the crime on Wednesday.

A judge also appointed an attorney for Timothy Bozza in court.

Bozza is the estranged husband of Veronica Bozza. Bozza was charged with first-degree murder for her death. She was a producer in the television and music industry.

Investigators believe Bozza and his friend Cory Cotham conspired with each other to kill Veronica . She was shot to death in the living room of her home within an hour of dropping off the Bozza's eight-year-old son to Timothy Bozza at a parking lot.

Investigators say Cotham committed the murder while Timothy Bozza headed to his Robertson County home with their son.
