Sausage and Wild Rice Dressing

1 6 ounce package Uncle Ben's Wild Rice

1 pound ground pork sausage

1 large onion chopped

1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

1 can cream of mushroom soup

2 green onions chopped

1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned - drained)

2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Prepare the wild rice to package directions as you brown the sausage with chopped onion and Cajun seasoning. In 9x13 baking dish, blend cooked rice mix with browned sausage and onion, mushroom soup, green onions, and mushrooms and spread evenly in baking dish. Top with cheddar cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
