Timothy Short, Joycean Harrison
Robert Guye
ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. – A second person has been charged in connection with a murder in Ashland City, while the accused killer has been denied bond.
On Tuesday, a Cheatham County judge denied bond for Timothy Short, and his next court appearance was set for November 18.
Short is charged with the murder of 54-year-old Robert Guye. Guye was found shot to death inside his Ashland City home in October.
Police discovered Guye's wallet in a dumpster near Short's Nashville apartment.
Now, police have charged 19-year-old Joycean Harrison with prostitution. According to investigators, Harris worked as a prostitute, and was hired by Guye.
She had been dating Short at the time. She was freed on bond.
Guye's murder was the first in Ashland City in decades.
